A law firm seeks a skilled Real Estate Associate to join its Syracuse office. This position will involve collaboration with partners and clients on complex commercial real estate transactions, including the sale, acquisition, financing, and leasing of various properties such as shopping centers, office buildings, multifamily housing, and energy assets.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and manage documentation related to real estate transactions.
  • Assist in the review and management of due diligence requests.
  • Coordinate and facilitate closings for real estate transactions.
  • Analyze and examine real estate titles to ensure clear ownership.
  • Work closely with clients and partners to develop effective strategies for transactions.
  • Maintain organized records and files related to ongoing transactions.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an attorney or relevant industry experience in commercial and residential real estate or financing transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar is required.
