Duties:

  • Handle and manage Hatch-Waxman or biotherapeutics cases in District Court and before the PTAB.

  • Mentor and manage more junior associates on case-related tasks.
  • Work independently on assigned cases, demonstrating creativity in legal strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team on larger litigation matters.
  • Ensure strong management and organizational skills are applied to caseload.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in patent litigation.
  • Experience handling and preferably managing Hatch-Waxman or biotherapeutics cases.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytic skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor more junior associates.
  • Strong management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Technical life science undergraduate and/or graduate degree preferred.
  • Current license to practice law in New York or eligibility to become licensed.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
