Foley & Lardner is seeking an experienced Environmental Law Associate to join our team. We are a leading law firm with a strong focus on environmental law and are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join our Environmental Practice Group. The preferred location for this position is Milwaukee, but we are open to considering candidates in Chicago as well.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing counsel to clients on regulatory compliance matters under federal environmental laws and state equivalents
• Advising clients on environmental aspects of corporate transactions
• Representing clients in government enforcement proceedings
• Working with multiple partners on a variety of matters in a team-based environment

Qualifications:
• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where practicing
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in environmental law
• Experience in regulatory compliance and government enforcement proceedings preferred
• Strong research and writing skills
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic
• Willingness to be trained in specialty environmental practice
