A San Francisco, CA, law firm seeks a Mid-level IP Tech Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in PTAB/IPR, patent litigation in district court, and/or ITC proceedings. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar field. Familiarity with source code is preferred. Excellent academic credentials and references are required; candidates must be licensed to practice law or eligible to become licensed.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in patent litigation matters before PTAB/IPR, district court, and/or ITC proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex intellectual property issues.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to patent litigation cases.
  • Assist in deposition preparation, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies.
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PTAB/IPR, patent litigation, and/or ITC proceedings.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar field.
  • Preferred familiarity with source code.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable institution.
  • Current license to practice law in CA or eligibility for licensure.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:
