Senior Corporate Paralegal - Supporting Transactional Practice at Law Firm in New York, Washington DC, or Boston About the Law Firm: - AMLAW 100/200 law firm with a focus on transactional practice and general corporate housekeeping - Offices in New York, Washington DC, and Boston Job Title: Senior Corporate Paralegal Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience at an AMLAW 100/200 law firm or a Fortune 1000 corporate legal department - Extensive experience in general corporate transactional support - Familiarity with corporate financing transactions, M&A, private equity, and new venture formation Qualifications: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with attorneys, staff, and clients - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team under tight deadlines - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, JD or other graduate degree is a plus but not required Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare and/or revise legal documents for attorney review, including documents related to formation and dissolution of corporate entities, ancillary documents related to corporate financing and M&A transactions, foreign qualifications, and UCC financing statements - Assist with SEC filings, including Form D filings, confidential treatment requests, and registration statements - Compile, analyze, and summarize information for attorney review in relation to transactions - Conduct corporate and securities law research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other online research services - Coordinate transaction tasks and projects with attorneys, clients, advisors, and other parties - Attend closings and handle post-closing tasks, including filing and tracking transaction documents with federal, state, and local authorities - Regularly communicate with attorneys regarding status of tasks and projects, and address staffing and assignment issues - Maintain timely attendance and work outside of normal business hours as needed to accommodate transaction schedules - Assist with other projects as assigned by Paralegal Supervisor or other Firm management Salary Information: - Non-Exempt status - Reports to Paralegal Supervisor - Competitive salary and benefits package offered, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off H1 and H2 Headings: H1: Senior Corporate Paralegal - Supporting Transactional Practice at Law Firm in New York, Washington DC, or Boston H2: About the Law Firm H2: Job Title and Experience H2: Qualifications H2: Duties and Responsibilities H2: Salary Information Bold Headlines: - Senior Corporate Paralegal - New York, Washington DC, or Boston - Paralegal Department - Minimum 5 years of experience - Extensive experience in general corporate transactional support - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines - Bachelor's degree required, JD or other graduate degree is a plus - Competitive salary and benefits package offered
