With offices in Houston, New York, and Washington ., you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, with the support and mentorship of experienced attorneys. Your Responsibilities: - Representing sponsors, developers, arrangers, agents, lenders, institutional and private equity investors, and tax equity investors in energy transactions - Handling matters at every stage of the project lifecycle, including financing, private M&A transactions, and sustainability-linked and green loan structures - Conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating agreements, and providing legal advice on complex energy and infrastructure deals - Assisting with tax equity and/or IRA credit matters as needed - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues Your Qualifications: - 2-3 years of experience in Energy & Infrastructure transactions - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions - Preference for experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions, as well as tax equity and/or IRA credit experience - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the New York, District of Columbia, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing We value diversity and inclusivity at Steptoe LLP and are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
