The Moore Law Group is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, entry-level position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for researching and understanding applicable laws and regulations, managing cases, preparing cases, attending court hearings, and supporting the firm and its clients.

Job Responsibilities

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

Understanding all client policies and procedures and conducting all firm business within those guidelines
Researching and understanding laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court rules and regulations, including industry trends
Preparing cases, attending court hearings, conference calls, consulting client witnesses, completing discovery process, developing case and testimony, completing filings, motions, and submissions, and supervising paralegals
Managing cases by monitoring schedules, expediting requirements, and obtaining and forwarding information
Supporting the firm and its clients by initiating and maintaining open communication and keeping the firm informed of any issues with workflow or policy changes
Maintaining cost standards by monitoring expenses and recommending cost-saving opportunities
Improving quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes
Updating job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Minimum Qualifications

The Associate Attorney must have:

A JD from an ABA school and be admitted to the practice in the State of Arizona
Superior analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of the litigation process from suit filing through and including judgment enforcement
Experience in creditor’s rights law is a plus
A team player attitude with a great attitude and willingness to learn

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands of the job include sitting most of the time, close vision, depth perception, and color vision in reading a computer monitor, and clear speech to communicate on the telephone. The working conditions are normal for an office environment.
