The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. They will also have the ability to learn and apply new skills to legal assignments and communicate effectively with both paralegals and attorneys. A bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred, and one year of patent prosecution experience is a plus.

Essential Functions:

- Provide administrative support to designated attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
- Promote and maintain the goodwill and reputation of the firm.
- Maintain a high level of professional conduct and confidentiality.
- Assist with patent prosecution procedures and rules.
- Draft reports and documents for paralegal review.
- Conduct patent searches for . and international patents.
- Update client records.
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Specific Skills Required:

- Ability to learn and apply new skills to legal assignments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professionalism and tact when interacting with firm personnel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard MS Office applications.
