The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead transactions in a first chair capacity, a comprehensive understanding of both lender and borrower side work, and proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating credit agreements and related loan documents. A portable business book with proven business development capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage finance-related transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings, in a first-chair capacity.
- Provide expert legal advice on complex financial transactions and issues, including loan documentation and due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements and related loan documents.
- Represent and advise clients on both lender and borrower side matters.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, emphasizing business development and entrepreneurial growth.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive legal support and solutions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed legal counsel.
- Maintain high levels of responsiveness and exceptional customer/client service.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 6-15 years of significant experience in finance matters, including leading transactions in a first-chair capacity.
