A Michigan-based law firm focused on representing assisted living providers, senior living communities, and related entities is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across a wide spectrum of legal areas including healthcare regulatory compliance, employment law, real estate, corporate transactions, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and an interest in both litigation and transactional work in a client-driven environment.

Duties

• Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research and provide regulatory advice to clients in the healthcare and elder care sectors

• Represent clients in negotiations, administrative hearings, and court proceedings

• Assist with matters related to licensing, compliance, and corporate governance

• Advise clients on employment law issues and best practices

• Support real estate, nonprofit, and corporate transactional matters

• Participate in client meetings and maintain regular case updates

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and develop case management skills

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant legal experience

• Excellent legal writing and communication skills

• Demonstrated interest in healthcare law, employment law, administrative law, or estate planning

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a team setting

• Willingness to commute to and work in the Dearborn office full time

Education

• Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan or awaiting bar exam results
