Intellectual Property Associate – Patent (Software/Computer Science /Electrical/Mechanical) Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking experienced lateral associates with software, computer science, electrical or mechanical expertise to join its Intellectual Property Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced patent attorney to join a well-respected law firm and work with a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have patent preparation and prosecution experience in the software, computer science, electrical or mechanical areas. This position is available in multiple locations including Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Salt Lake City, UT; and St. Louis, MO. The Intellectual Property Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with highly experienced patent practitioners and will be responsible for handling the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters. They will also be expected to possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills for interacting with both attorneys and clients. This role requires the ability to work independently and productively, as well as a strong interest in advancing a career in Intellectual Property law. The successful candidate will also be expected to produce quality legal work and manage business development efforts.
