Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Dallas, TX, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Antitrust Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Antitrust and Competition team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation, DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations, and criminal enforcement matters. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in antitrust law, along with excellent analytical and writing skills, and will have the chance to collaborate with enforcement agencies on high-profile cases.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation matters, including civil lawsuits and government investigations.
  • Handle DOJ/FTC investigations, focusing on both civil conduct and criminal enforcement issues.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on antitrust compliance and regulatory concerns.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and enforcement agencies to develop case strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of antitrust matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and reports.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions as part of case resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in antitrust law, with a focus on litigation and government investigations (Candidates from law school classes of 2019-2023 are encouraged to apply).
  • Experience working with enforcement agencies, such as the DOJ or FTC, is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically and provide effective solutions to clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in good standing.
