Job Description:
Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (“LASP”) is seeking a full-time Paralegal for their office in West Chester. The organization serves individuals with limited income, older adults, veterans and domestic violence victims from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties facing a variety of legal issues. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in providing support to attorneys and clients, and must be a team player with strong communication, time management, and organization skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone interviews with clients to determine eligibility and gather relevant information
- Assist attorneys with case management, including triaging calls, evaluating case merit, and preparing correspondence and documents
- Maintain accurate and organized case files in the organization's computer system
- Manage a caseload and take prompt action on assigned cases
- Participate in outreach and education activities in the community
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and resources through training and educational opportunities
- Ensure compliance with grants and contracts by developing forms and running reports

Requirements:

- At least 2 years' experience as a paralegal or related experience and/or training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other computer skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- Fluency in Spanish is desirable
