Experience Information

- 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration
- Experience working with individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries
- International estate planning experience is a plus
- Florida Bar Board Certification in Wills, Trusts and Estates is preferred
- LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

- Provide legal services in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration
- Work closely with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates
- Advise clients on matters related to charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations related to estate planning and taxation
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff

Qualifications

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar or willingness to become a member
- Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong understanding of estate planning and taxation laws and regulations
