## Job Description

Duties for the attorney position include but are not limited to the following:

- Preparing and drafting legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence
- Drafting pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders
- Corresponding with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases
- Interviewing witnesses for court cases and preparing witnesses to testify
- Ensuring the accuracy of all documents prepared
- Promptly appearing in court on all cases assigned
- Handling all aspects of cases assigned
- Performing administrative duties as necessary, including filing, mailing, organizing files and pleadings
- Conducting legal research for particular issues

## Qualifications

Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

- Illinois license required
- Family law experience is preferred but not required
- Senior Associate positions are available for attorneys with five years or more of litigation experience
