- Highly qualified Staff Attorney needed for Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP's Mass Torts Practice Group in Charleston, SC
- Will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation
- Opportunity for autonomy in handling assigned cases while having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators
- Candidates must possess strong written and oral advocacy skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player and self-starter

- Must be licensed in South Carolina or eligible for admission without examination
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary

Requirements:

- Must be licensed in South Carolina or eligible for admission without examination
- Must have at least two years of experience in insurance defense, ERISA, or financial services work
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills

- Ability to conduct research and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary

Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff
- Analyze and strategize how to handle each case
- Defend clients and reach successful resolution of each matter
- Conduct research and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure
- Travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary
