The Law Firm of Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Public Finance Associate to join their Boston office. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid remote work option. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in public finance, real estate finance, and/or lending/corporate finance. In this role, the associate will work on public finance matters involving state entities and nonprofits, including tax-exempt and taxable municipal bonds, commercial loans, and other capital improvement projects. The associate will also have the opportunity to work on engagements as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel, and purchaser's/lender's counsel. Responsibilities: - Draft transaction documents, including trust agreements, loan agreements, and closing certificates. - Review due diligence materials and assist with drafting securities disclosure offering documents. - Work on a variety of public finance matters, including tax-exempt and taxable municipal bonds, commercial loans, and other capital improvement projects. - Participate in engagements as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel, and purchaser's/lender's counsel. Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in public finance, real estate finance, and/or lending/corporate finance preferred. - JD from an accredited law school. - Admission to the Massachusetts bar. - Excellent academic credentials. - Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
