A law firm is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney for their Morristown office. The Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney will join the firm's dynamic and established practice representing premier local and national employers. The role requires expertise in labor law, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns.

 

Duties:

  • Represent premier local and national employers in labor relations matters
  • Handle labor arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges
  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations
  • Provide counsel on union campaigns and related matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies
  • Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
  • Outstanding academic record preferred
  • 5+ years of labor law experience
  • Experience in labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
