Duties:
- Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR.
- Prepare and submit immigration applications, petitions, and motions.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and craft detailed legal briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Advocate for clients in interviews, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Provide sound legal advice and guidance on various immigration matters.
- Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure case management and progression.
- Stay up-to-date on developments in immigration law and policy changes.
- Effectively manage a caseload while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.
- 1-3 years of experience in immigration law (preferred).
- Proven ability to conduct legal research and produce high-quality written work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and staff effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Fluency in Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, or another language is advantageous.
- Strong passion for immigration law and advocating for immigrant rights.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

- Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission).
