Job Overview: A respected law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced and dedicated attorney with expertise in Labor Law and Premises Liability. This role requires an individual who is highly motivated to contribute to the firm’s success while managing personal injury litigation cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation, including Labor Law and Premises Liability cases.
• Make court appearances and represent clients effectively.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, opposition papers, and discovery responses.
• Defend and conduct depositions, 50-H hearings, and examinations under oath (EUOs).
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys and independently manage assigned cases.
• Maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail while ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in New York State (no exceptions).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York State Bar License (required).

Skills:

• Expertise in Labor Law and Premises Liability litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Proficient in case management, pleadings, motions, and legal drafting.
• Experience conducting depositions and legal hearings.
