In this role, you will review foreclosure related legal motions and attend settlement conferences on behalf of our clients. You will use your legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the process and provide guidance to clients on legal strategies. Additionally, you will work closely with our supervising foreclosure attorney, business unit, and per diem appearance counsel to manage escalated cases and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. You must also be a member of the New York Bar and maintain all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. Additionally, you must be willing to travel on an as-needed basis.

duties & responsibilities:

review foreclosure related motions such as foreclosure complaints, orders of reference and judgments
attend hearing and mediation appearances
prepare analysis of cases and advise clients regarding legal strategies
draft court pleadings, status letters, denial letters and written requests
must collaborate with supervising foreclosure attorney, business unit and per diem appearance counsel
provide legal directives for clients on the behalf of the firm
directly manage escalated cases including the management of client systems
coordinate bank rep and client appearances
must be willing to travel on an as needed basis
