Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage attorney dockets and ensure timely meeting of deadlines
- Review files and communicate with attorneys about case status and upcoming deadlines
- Assist attorneys with preparation for various legal proceedings
- Draft legal documents such as letters, briefs, and discovery
- File and e-file legal documents
- Maintain client files both electronically and physically
- Communicate regularly with clients
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations to attorneys
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and other office visitors
- Cover front desk and phones when necessary

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of Paralegal experience in Family Law preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks within given parameters

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make decisions using data and experience-based instinct
- Professional demeanor and strong communication and interpersonal skills
