U-Visa Paralegal at The Matian Firm, APC The Matian Firm, APC is searching for a paralegal to join their growing U-Visa department. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, knowledge of the U-Visa process, and case management abilities. This paralegal will be responsible for assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing of U-Visas. Qualifications At least 1 year of U-Visa experience Knowledge of Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is preferred, but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required Experience with Case Management Softwares, such as Clio and Airtable, preferred Responsibilities Analyze police reports and prepare U-Visa certification requests for filing with the appropriate law enforcement agency Compile case documents and prepare U-Visa applications for filing with USCIS Communicate with clients and law enforcement agencies regarding procedures and case status Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications Maintain electronic copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases Complete daily assignments and communicate case status during weekly meetings Salary and Benefits The Matian Firm, APC offers a competitive salary and benefits package for their employees.
