Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a midlevel Private Equity Associate with extensive experience in private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of corporate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations of portfolio companies. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on private equity matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and management of portfolio companies

• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents

• Collaborate with legal teams on complex cross-border transactions

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on corporate and financial regulations

• Assist in due diligence and risk assessment processes

• Maintain client relationships and deliver high-quality legal support

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of private equity legal experience

• Strong background in corporate law and financial transactions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate global client needs

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the state of employment or eligibility for admission

Skills:

• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting
