Paralegal - General Liability (St. Louis, MO) - Chartwell Law is seeking a proactive and experienced Paralegal with knowledge of general liability insurance coverage. This is a full time position in our St. Louis, MO office with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Primary Duties:

- Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and discovery motions.
- Organize, process, and track incoming records and invoices.
- Communicate with clients and follow up for outstanding records.
- Manage a large caseload and work with multiple attorneys.
- Conduct case law research and assist with strategies for defense.
- Prepare attorneys for mediation and trial.
- Retrieve and save documents to the document management system.

Requirements:

- 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Billing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Word.
- Familiarity with MO courts and e-filing.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Aderant Total Office (ATO).
- Familiarity with Lexis Advance.
