The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a strong understanding of professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. This role requires excellent academic credentials and demonstrated superior research and writing abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal guidance on insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies and coverage disputes to offer strategic advice to clients.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation, including drafting and filing legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed reports, memoranda, and correspondence.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance law and industry developments to provide relevant and informed legal advice.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings and trials.
• Efficiently manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely progression of cases and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Deep understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Proven track record of handling complex insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials, including a JD from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated superior research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
