Ballard Spahr LLP, a premier law firm with over 600 lawyers and 15 offices across the ., is seeking a Litigation Associate with two to four years of experience to join our New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to grow professionally in a dynamic and collegial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in federal or state court litigation, with a strong preference for those with past criminal experience.

Job Description:
- Join our largest practice group, the Litigation Department, and work with a diverse range of local, national, and international clients
- Handle all types of complex litigation in local, state, and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels
- Assist with government and internal investigations focused on alleged corporate misconduct, such as securities fraud, money laundering, and corruption
- Provide support for criminal prosecution or defense work
- Conduct legal research, writing, and argumentation
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and mentors to develop your skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- Two to four years of experience in federal or state court litigation
- Past criminal experience, such as criminal prosecution or criminal defense work, is helpful
- Experience with government and internal investigations focused on alleged corporate misconduct is a plus
- Superior academic credentials
- Admission to the New York bar
- Clerkship and courtroom experience strongly preferred
