Perkins Coie LLP, a top law firm, is currently seeking a Paralegal to join their nationally recognized Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising group. This position will assist attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of . and foreign trademark and copyright matters, making it an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a background in IP/Trademark paralegal work.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in this field. Experience in a mid to large-sized law firm is preferred, and a paralegal certificate is a plus. The salary for this position will vary depending on qualifications and experience, with compensation ranges provided for each location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and file electronic trademark and service mark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- Prepare and file copyright applications with the . Copyright Office
- Independently draft domestic and international Office Action responses, related prosecution documents, and correspondence to clients
- Communicate with foreign associates regarding international trademark matters
- Register and manage Internet Domain Names, both generic and country extensions
- Experience with adverse matters, demand letters and domain name arbitrations
- Review, monitor, and maintain docket deadlines with excellent accuracy
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with team members, staff, and clients
- Exercise strong judgment, initiative, and leadership to successfully drive projects to completion
- Keep accurate time and billing records and comply with clients' billing requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of IP/Trademark paralegal experience
- Experience in a mid to large-sized law firm is preferred
- Paralegal certificate is a plus
