Location:

Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
  • Represent clients in federal and state courts
  • Assist in government investigations and high-profile commercial litigation matters
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and take ownership of cases
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client relationships
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure favorable outcomes

Requirements:

  • 1 to 6 years of legal experience, ideally in a leading New York law firm
  • At least one federal clerkship or service as an Assistant United States Attorney is preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle complex, high-stakes litigation matters
  • Ability to think creatively and approach problems with an innovative mindset
  • Desire to take ownership of cases and work independently
  • Excellent writing and research skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong academic credentials and a commitment to excellence in legal practice
  • Desire to contribute to business generation and client development

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Valid New York State Bar license (required)

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and client interaction skills
  • Experience with complex commercial litigation and/or government investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work efficiently under pressure
