Law Firm is seeking an entry-level Patent/Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our team and work in one of our offices located in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas or Florida.

Job Description

The Patent/Intellectual Property Litigation Associate will be responsible for:

• Providing legal advice and counsel regarding patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property matters


• Preparing and filing patent applications


• Conducting legal research and analysis


• Drafting and responding to motions, pleadings and briefs


• Handling discovery and depositions


• Negotiating settlements


• Attending court proceedings and client meetings


• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients


• Providing support to litigation matters

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school


• Admitted to the Bar in one of the states in which the Law Firm has offices


• 2+ years of experience in patent and/or intellectual property litigation


• Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field


• Strong academic credentials


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Able to work collaboratively and independently
