Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join their Professional Liability Practice in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of skilled attorneys located throughout the firm's nationwide offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional liability law and be admitted to the California Bar.

Responsibilities

- Defend professional liability claims involving Directors & Officers, Legal Malpractice, Errors & Omissions, and Architects & Engineers
- Represent professionals such as accountants, architects & engineers, attorneys, and more
- Conduct thorough research and writing to support case defense
- Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective defense strategies
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all aspects of the job

Qualifications

- 2-7 years of experience in professional liability law preferred
- Admission to the California Bar required
- Strong research and writing skills
- Demonstrated interest in professional liability law
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Substantive litigation experience in any arena will be considered

Salary Information

- Minimum salary of $130,000 per year
- Maximum salary of $175,000 per year
- Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer contribution, and bonus opportunities for meeting hourly requirements
