The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare M&A, business entity legal matters, health law compliance matters, professional regulation and discipline, AHCA, and state licensure laws, federal and state patient confidentiality laws, and cyber security issues, physician, medical practice, and midlevel professional representation, behavioral health, DME, pharmacy, laboratory, managed care contracting, and document drafting, review, and negotiation.

The position is based in either Saint Petersburg, Tampa, or Clearwater, FL and the ideal candidate should be (or in the process of being) admitted to practice in Florida and willing to relocate in the Tampa Bay area.

* Healthcare M&A, including private equity transactions with health systems
* Business entity legal matters
* Health law compliance matters, including federal and Florida fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, self-referral, and fee-splitting laws
* Professional regulation and discipline, AHCA, and state licensure laws
* Federal and state patient confidentiality laws, and cyber security issues
* Physician, medical practice, and midlevel professional representation (including start-ups and alternative practice models)
* Behavioral health
* DME
* Pharmacy
* Laboratory
* Managed care contracting (FFS, capitation, and value-based)
* Document drafting, review, and negotiation

The successful candidate should have a minimum of fourth to seventh-year associate experience and must be (or in the process of being) admitted to practice in Florida. They should also be willing to relocate in the Tampa Bay area.
