Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of affordable housing and real estate experience
- Licensed to practice in California or Texas
- Substantive legal experience in areas such as housing tax credits, public housing redevelopment, HUD programs, and real estate transactions
Responsibilities:
- Work on all aspects of affordable housing transactional work from the local government and affiliated entity perspective
- Draft and review various documents related to affordable housing, including ground leases, loan documents, management agreements, construction contracts, and more
- Handle general real estate work involved in commercial lending, development, acquisitions, and dispositions of real property
- Familiarity with Texas title policy and survey review, local government procurement requirements, and CDBG implementation programs is highly desirable
Salary Information:
- Reasonably expected pay scale for this position with 3 or more years of experience: $122,500 - $180,000
- Actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate's years of practice and experience
