Duties:
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, ensuring cases are handled from start to finish
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of insurance laws and regulations
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategy
- Provide timely and sound legal advice to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in New York; New Jersey admission is a plus
- Strong legal writing and communication skills
- Experience with civil litigation and legal project management preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively
- Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and developments in insurance law
Education:
- JD from an accredited law school
Certifications:
