This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected firm and gain valuable experience in the field of labor and employment law.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of experience working in a law firm, specifically in advising and counseling management on employee relations issues and representing companies in employment-related litigation. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent writing skills and top academic credentials. While a license to practice in Connecticut is required, New York admission is preferred.

At Wiggin and Dana LLP, we value our employees and believe in providing competitive compensation packages. The target base pay range for this role in Connecticut and New York is $165,000 – $212,500, depending on experience and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and counseling to management on a wide range of labor and employment issues
• Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes
• Prepare and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
• Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on compliance with state and federal employment laws
• Keep up-to-date with changes in labor and employment laws and provide training to clients as needed

Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of law firm experience in labor and employment law
• Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations
• Excellent writing skills and top academic credentials
• Licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York admission preferred
