Job Title: Public Company Counsel, Capital Markets Practice

Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced associate or counsel with at least five years of relevant experience
- Must have deep understanding of securities laws and experience in public company compliance and corporate governance
- Responsible for independently managing day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for public company clients

Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and advice to public companies on securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance matters
- Work closely with other members of the Public Company Advisory group
- Independently manage day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for public company clients
- Opportunities to work on transactional elements of the practice, including capital markets offerings

Qualifications:
- Superior academic credentials
- Strong communication skills
- At least five years of relevant experience in securities law compliance and corporate governance
- Deep understanding of securities laws
- Experience working with public company clients in a law firm or in-house setting

Salary:
- Salary range in Austin for this role is $370,000 - $415,000
- Actual compensation offered will depend on candidate's experience, qualifications, and location
