Prudential is seeking a VP, Corporate Counsel with expertise in asset-based finance to join their team in Newark, NJ. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $210,700 to $285,100, depending on experience and location. The successful candidate will support PGIM Fixed Income's asset management business and work closely with a global team of 13 lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day legal advice and support for PGIM Fixed Income's securitized products group in connection with private asset-based finance transactions.
- Structure and form fund vehicles.
- Review and negotiate complex deal documentation and confidentiality agreements.
- Advise on operations, syndication, and trading issues.
- Collaborate with investment and business professionals.
- Manage outside transaction and fund formation counsel.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of relevant and sophisticated legal experience in a law firm, investment bank, or investment manager.
- Significant and substantial legal experience in asset-based finance/securitized products/structured finance or related areas of private credit.
- Stellar project management skills.
- Excellent judgment and ability to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and corporate partners.
- Admitted to practice in . (or be able to obtain a . in-house counsel license as required).

Bonus points for knowledge and experience in:
