Are you a highly qualified attorney with a minimum of three years of experience in complex real estate transactions? Do you have a strong understanding of the business of real estate investing? If so, Latham & Watkins LLP has an exciting opportunity for you to join our global Real Estate Practice. As an Associate, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of real estate matters with clients across the United States and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work on complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, real estate M&A, and financings
- Represent a diverse group of clients, including private equity and investment funds, real estate operating companies, development partners, REITs, financial institutions, and institutional investors
- Collaborate with attorneys locally and across the firm, regardless of assigned office location
- Utilize strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills to provide top-quality legal services

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex real estate transactions
- Strong understanding of the business of real estate investing
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Juris Doctor degree and admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction of the office to which you are applying
