Prior workers’ compensation experience supporting multiple attorneys and competing deadlines. Ability to type a min. of 70 wpm and must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Organized, self- motivated, ability to prioritize and work independently. Exceptional attention to details and the production of professional work product Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work in a team environment with a positive respectful attitude Experience with a document management platform (Litify a plus) AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a fast-growing commercial insurance company, is seeking a Worker's Compensation Legal Assistant to join their team. This role will be located in one of the following AmTrust locations: Boca Raton, Maitland, or Remote. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of workers compensation experience, and experience supporting multiple attorneys with competing deadlines. They must also have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, regular position. Responsibilities: - Provide support to 2 or more attorneys - Identify and flag critical documents requiring timely responses - Coordinate meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions - Maintain and manage attorney calendars - Generate draft templates for attorney review and approval - Assemble medical packets for experts - Process documents and manage deadlines - Communicate with various parties involved in the legal process - Maintain data integrity in document management platform - Request and transmit payments to vendors - Assist with special assignments as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED - 3+ years of workers compensation experience - Experience supporting multiple attorneys with competing deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Organized and self-motivated - Excellent attention to detail and professional work product - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude - Experience with document management platform (Litify a plus) AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
