Law Firm is seeks a highly qualified licensing mid-level associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Life Sciences group. The ideal candidate should have experience in intellectual property licensing, technology transfer and other technology transactions as well as in IP support (including intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence) of corporate transactions in the life sciences arena.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses (including patent and trademark licenses)
• Joint development, collaboration and other strategic alliance agreements
• Technology licenses and services agreements (including software as a service agreements)
• Distribution agreements
• Performing intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers

Qualifications:

• Outstanding academic credentials
• Comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
