Employee Relations Partner - Remote Position in the Southeast Region H1: Join Our Team as an Employee Relations Partner - Remote Position in the Southeast Region H2: Work from Home and Make a Difference in Employee Relations Job Title: Employee Relations Partner Location: Remote (must live in Southeast Region) Salary: $60K - $70K Experience: 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations Company: Ryder Department: Human Resources Overview: Ryder is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Relations Partner to join our team in the Southeast Region. This position will be responsible for providing tactical Employee Relations consultation to managers and employees, conducting HR investigations, and analyzing data to monitor employee relations trends. The ideal candidate will have strong conflict resolution skills, knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems - Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations - Provide guidance to managers on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Partner with operational management, HR teams, labor relations, and legal teams to create solutions for complex employee relations issues - Ensure compliance with relevant clauses in union collective bargaining agreements (as applicable) - Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region - Travel as needed to company sites within the supported region Skills and Abilities: - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and company policies - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Impartiality and strong conflict resolution skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the organization - Discretion and ability to handle confidential information - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices - Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent major; or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations - Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Salary and Benefits: - Salary range of $60K - $70K, determined based on internal equity, market data, and relevant experience - Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability options - Paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave - Tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan Join Our Team: Ryder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
