## Trusts & Estates Associate at Law Firm (Rochester) Law Firm is seeking an associate to join its Trusts & Estates Practice Area in the Rochester office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in trusts and estates practice and strong verbal and written communication, analytical, quantitative (., computational abilities and ability to work with spreadsheets), matter management, and executive functioning skills. ### Job Description The Trusts & Estates Associate will provide support to a growing trusts and estates practice representing primarily high-net-worth clients. The attorney will: * Perform transactional work, including drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and operating and shareholder agreements * Quantify tax impacts of estate and business succession plans * Work on estate and trust administration matters, including structuring the administration plan; supervising the preparation of accountings and estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns; and addressing procedural and disputed matters * Develop and maintain relationships with clients, referral sources, and other attorneys within the firm ### Qualifications * Three years of progressively responsible experience in trusts and estates practice * A license to practice law * An LLM in tax, experience in corporate and transactional work, and five or more years of experience will be highly regarded * Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, quantitative (., computational abilities and ability to work with spreadsheets), matter management, and executive functioning skills ### Salary Salary is commensurate with experience. ### Application To apply for this position, please click here.
