Summary:

Kutak Rock LLP is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Northwest Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have previous law firm experience and will work closely with attorneys and staff members in the litigation department. This is a full-time, on-site position with responsibilities including legal and non-legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with case management, and trial preparation. Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Department: Litigation
Experience: Previous law firm experience preferred

Responsibilities:

- Perform legal and non-legal research
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence
- Assist with case management and strategy
- Assist with deposition preparation and attend depositions
- Assist with all aspects of the discovery phase of litigation
- Prepare for and attend trial, if needed
- Handle accounting responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with all documents and information

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications: Education & Experience:

- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Completion of an accredited legal assistant or paralegal program preferred
- Previous experience in a law firm, specifically in the litigation department, preferred
