Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Junior-Mid Level Associate to join its premier and globally recognized Digital Assets and Data Management Practice Group, Healthcare Privacy and Compliance team. This position offers the opportunity to work with regional, national, and global clients focused on the Healthcare Industry.

Job Responsibilities:
• Incident response work for clients experiencing cyber events including, but not limited to, ransomware and business email compromises
• Assisting clients with regulatory investigations from state and federal regulators
• Data security incident response preparedness training and counseling
• Privacy compliance work

Qualifications:
• Privacy and cybersecurity experience or litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in privacy and cybersecurity
• Understanding of healthcare operations and knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance
• AmLaw 200 firm experience or experience with a boutique firm that specializes in healthcare law or data privacy related issues. Post-law school graduation experience working with regulators or as a federal judicial clerk is a plus.
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
• Outstanding writing and oral communication skills
• Motivation to learn and understand technology and forensic findings, effectively discuss those issues with technically skilled individuals, and distill findings for clients without technology experience
• Good judgment and the ability to apply legal knowledge to problem solve by developing strategic solutions
• The commitment and interpersonal skills to succeed in a collaborative and team environment that works across offices using digital platforms
