## Family Law Attorney
Foster Swift Collins & Smith . is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join our Southfield office. Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, this position may be either a senior associate or senior attorney position with potential for shareholdership.

### Qualifications

Candidates should have five-plus years of experience, with at least fifty percent of their previous work being divorce cases and family law-related matters.

* Five-plus years’ experience in family law and a passion to continue practicing in this area
* Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
* Strong writing and oral communication skills
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented with good time management skills
* Excellent client service skills with proven ability to communicate and manage clients
* Familiarity with Oakland and Wayne County courts

### Responsibilities

* Case analysis and strategy development based on client’s situation
* Client communication on strategy, options and next steps
* Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, judgements and orders for divorce and child-custody cases
* Represent clients in both negotiations and in court proceedings, including mediations, trials, evidentiary hearings, and motions
