VP, Casualty Construction Claims - Job Description:
- Responsible for managing Construction-related claims at Sompo International in New York City
- Reports to the Senior Vice President, Head of Casualty Claims
- Manages a team of claim professionals and ensures best practice compliance and superior customer service
- Identifies trends and exposures in the Casualty Construction portfolio and reports them to Underwriting and Senior Management
- Represents the company at industry conferences and publishes on current claim trends and issues

Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in claims or litigation management
- Law degree required, preference given to those with experience at both a law firm and insurance carrier
- Management experience and proven track record in handling high exposure claims
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and analytical skills
- Experience in handling New York Labor Law, Construction Defect, and other Construction-related claims

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range of $145,000 to $225,000, depending on qualifications and experience
