A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its Energy & Infrastructure Practice. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in infrastructure-focused projects, particularly in PPP (Public-Private Partnerships), project financing, and drop-down transactions. The role involves working closely with clients in the infrastructure sector, providing legal expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on infrastructure-focused projects, including PPP transactions, project financing, and drop-down structures.
  • Represent equity sponsors, financing parties, and other private sector participants in the PPP space.
  • Engage in complex contract negotiations, financial structuring, and risk assessment for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with clients, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and market trends impacting the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong background in PPP, project finance, and infrastructure transactions.
  • Experience representing equity sponsors, lenders, and other key stakeholders in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of the office where the candidate will be located.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure law, project finance, and public-private partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with clients, investors, and internal legal teams.
