Law Firm Seeking Experienced Tax Attorney for Boston and New Hampshire Offices

Job Title: Tax Attorney

Experience: Substantial experience in individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of complex commercial transactions; mergers and acquisitions; business formations; debt and equity financing; employee compensation and benefits; and drafting related memoranda and documents in various industries. Experience with affordable housing tax credit issues, sales and use tax, and qualified plans is a plus.

Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green, a leading law firm with offices in Boston and New Hampshire, is currently seeking a seasoned tax attorney to join our tax practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced attorney to provide advice on tax matters for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

- Providing advice on the tax consequences, risks, and opportunities of ongoing and new business entity structures and activities
- Addressing tax controversy matters for clients
- Handling individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of complex commercial transactions
- Structuring mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing
- Advising on employee compensation and benefits and drafting related memoranda and documents
- Working with clients in a variety of industries
- Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to solve multidimensional tax issues

Qualifications:

- . from an ABA accredited institution
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve complex problems creatively
- MA and NH bar admission required
