The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal counsel and representation to clients in the healthcare industry, addressing a wide range of legal issues and regulatory matters.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to healthcare clients on various legal matters, including compliance, regulatory issues, contracts, and litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to interpret healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare transactions and operations.
  • Represent healthcare clients in litigation matters, including medical malpractice claims, regulatory investigations, and contractual disputes.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of healthcare providers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and other relevant parties to address legal issues and negotiate settlements.
  • Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide informed legal advice.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior attorneys and support staff on healthcare legal issues and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and in good standing with relevant Bar association(s).
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of litigation experience, with a focus on healthcare law preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research, analyze issues, and develop effective legal strategies.
  • Experience representing healthcare clients in litigation matters is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
