The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of nonprofit organization legal matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, tax exemption, fundraising regulation, and general business law. They should also have knowledge of campaign finance and election laws, as well as lobbying registration and disclosure laws. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an outstanding academic record. A juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and admission to the . bar is required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and advice to nonprofit organizations on various legal matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, and tax exemption
- Advise on fundraising regulations and compliance with campaign finance and election laws
- Assist with contract drafting and review for nonprofit clients
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal lobbying registration and disclosure laws
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legislative advisors to provide comprehensive legal services to nonprofit clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit clients and community organizations
- Stay informed about the latest developments and changes in the nonprofit industry

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit organization law
- Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to and in good standing with the . bar
- Knowledge of nonprofit law, including entity formation, tax exemption, and corporate governance
- Familiarity with campaign finance and election laws and lobbying registration and disclosure laws
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Outstanding academic record
