Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and advice to nonprofit organizations on various legal matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, and tax exemption
- Advise on fundraising regulations and compliance with campaign finance and election laws
- Assist with contract drafting and review for nonprofit clients
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal lobbying registration and disclosure laws
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legislative advisors to provide comprehensive legal services to nonprofit clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit clients and community organizations
- Stay informed about the latest developments and changes in the nonprofit industry

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit organization law
- Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to and in good standing with the . bar
- Knowledge of nonprofit law, including entity formation, tax exemption, and corporate governance
- Familiarity with campaign finance and election laws and lobbying registration and disclosure laws
